About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Fremont’s bustling business district, Vince's Cafe is a delightful breakfast and lunch spot that expertly blends classic deli fare with comforting American favorites. This unassuming yet inviting restaurant offers a bright, clean dining area — perfect for a quick bite or a leisurely meal away from the daily grind. Whether you’re stopping in early for a hearty breakfast or coming back for a satisfying lunch, Vince’s delivers a consistently fresh and flavorful experience.

The standout feature here is their diverse and tempting menu, which ranges from robust breakfast sandwiches to hearty deli classics. Imagine biting into the “Quick Start” sandwich — a warm, buttered English muffin brimming with fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and melted American cheese. The balance of textures and flavors is comforting and familiar, making it an ideal start to any day. For those craving lunch, the French Dip sandwich is a must-try, offering tender roast beef nestled in a perfectly toasted roll, accompanied by a savory au jus for dipping that brings the sandwich to life with every bite.

Beyond these favorites, Vince's Cafe excels with its variety. From the zesty Tortilla Soup and Caesar Salad to the crispy Fish and Chips, each dish is thoughtfully prepared and delivers satisfying flavors that evoke a sense of home-cooked goodness. Those seeking lighter options will appreciate the Meatless Delites selections—freshly sliced tomatoes, marinated zucchini, and provolone cheese served on artisan breads like sour French rolls or light swirl rye, offering a refreshing and healthy twist without sacrificing taste.

The attention to detail in every sandwich is evident — customers repeatedly mention the generous portions and quality ingredients. Take the egg salad sandwich, for instance: far from ordinary, it arrives loaded with fresh egg salad, crisp green lettuce, and a tangy pickle that adds a welcome crunch and acidity. It's these small touches that transform a simple deli sandwich into something memorable.

Vince’s Cafe also shines through its friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. Regulars and first-timers alike appreciate the staff’s genuine warmth and efficiency, making each visit feel like coming into a neighborhood gem. The setting, while modest, is cheerful and well-maintained, inviting diners to relax and savor their meals in comfort.

Patrons like Kevin Brown note the care Vince’s puts into even the smallest details — proving that great food can be found off the beaten path. Roger Plante’s praise for consistently great food and service reinforces Vince’s reputation as a reliable choice for breakfast and lunch, especially for busy professionals who crave quality and convenience. The enthusiastic recommendation from American Angler, inspired by local word-of-mouth, highlights the cafe’s well-deserved status as a beloved community spot.

In short, Vince’s Cafe is more than just a place to eat; it’s a comforting sanctuary for those seeking honest, flavorful meals crafted with care. Whether you’re after a quick but hearty breakfast sandwich, a classic deli lunch, or a lighter vegetarian option, Vince’s balances generous portions, fresh ingredients, and warm service to create a dining experience that leaves you feeling perfectly satisfied and eager to return.

This place is further from where I work than I typically go for lunch, but I was up in the area for an errand, and decided to try it. Glad I did. An egg salad sandwich is an egg salad sandwich? Not quite. a) lots of egg salad, cool. b) *green* lettuce, cool. c) a pickle, very cool. There's a place right around the corner that used to give pickle slices with their lunches, and when covid hit they stopped, and never started back up again. Don't think I didn't notice that! I'll be back to Vince's ...

Everything you want in a good breakfast and lunch spot. I came here almost every week day for my business trip and it was great food and great service every time. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

Vince's Café this, Vince's Café that... That's all I heard about from the lady's at the bowling alley's 100 club, normally I wouldn't waste my time listening to a bunch of old ladies...but then I noticed each one of these old beetles weighed in at about 250 to 300 pounds each, so they must know what they're talking about when it comes to food! So off I went to Vince's Café and had an Amazing sandwich! It was Spectacular to say the least! 5 stars

Deli lunch place in a pleasant but anonymous business park. Sandwiches and burgers rule the menu. I had a reuben, which was tasty, but unexceptional. Good value and friendly staff. Clean and bright seating area.

Ordered the “quick start” Scrambled egg, ham or bacon (I picked bacon), melted American cheese on a buttered English muffin. Came in for a quick bite. Didn’t want a lot of food so the quick start was enough. The bread size is the size of an English muffin from costco. After taxes is about ~$7 and some change, The value is there. You don’t feel like your skimped on any of the ingredients. Plenty of moderately thick bacon and decent of gooey American cheese. Staffs friendly and I got in and out within 5 mins. Definitely recommend. Prices for sandwiches are moderately priced. $11 for most of the sandwiches on the board. Definitely friendly for your quick lunch break spot. Will be back if I’m in the area.

This place gets really busy during lunch. Buy despite high volume of patrons, you get you order filled very quickly. Once the cashier takes the order, you will get your sandwich in about 3 mins (at least that has been my experience with this place so far). Not a fancy place, just really good lunch sandwiches and great, fast service. This is a good choice if you want to grab a quick bite to eat in between your meetings.

Been going to this place for years. Always consistently good. Whether it is one of their sandwiches, soups or specials. Everything is excellent. Even their homemade cookies are great. Plenty of food at reasonable prices. Plenty of free parking in front. Interior is a bit dated but clean. Staff is very friendly. Great place to have a business lunch or meet new people in the area. Highly recommended!
